In 2001 Carl was asked to join Savills, the leading international estate agency group, to assist in the establishment of its Sunningdale office and was promoted to become responsible for the sale of residential property, development land and new homes in excess of £1m. The explosion of internet property marketing during this time, which removed the previous advantages of multiple offices and extensive newspaper advertising, combined perfectly with the availability of premises in central Thaxted and enabled Carl to fulfil his life long ambition to open his own estate agency in East Anglia in December 2005.
